I have a grouping in my report and would like to get the difference between either the min, max values of the group or the first value and the last( can sort them if need be).
Just to maybe help visualize it better I have a report that displays the fuel records for each vehicle. the report is grouped by vehID and then sorted by date. Each time the vehicle is filling up they enter the mileage. I want to get the total mileage driven for the period in question. thanks
Jeremy

In the group footer for the vehicle, create a text box with a control source like:
=Max(Mileage) - Min(Mileage)
