grouping by birthmonth

I am looking for a way to group by someones birth month. I must admit that I am rather new at crystal and would appreciate any help........

Insert a group on {table.birthdate} and on the insert group screen choose "print on change of month".

thanks for the reply. that worked but it also showed the changes for the birth year. in the report I don't care what year they were born just the month......

Create a formula of:

month({table.birthdate})

and group on that.

Sorry, yes, do what SV suggested. Then go to report->group expert->options->customize groupname->use a formula->x+2 and enter:

monthname(month({table.birthdate}))
