Grouping by a subreport

I have a report with 5 subreports, however I need to group the report details by one of the subreports. I'm using crystal 8.5. Can this be done?

You should have made the subreport you want to group by as the main report.

The problem with that is the main report is date driven and the subreport has invoice values which may or may not exist in the date range being requested.
