hi all,

clm_nr clm_status eff_dt amt
------- ----------- ---------- ------
910774617 closed 7/5/2009 0.00
910774617 active 6/21/2009 621
910774617 active 6/21/2009 131

this is grouped by clm_nr and in the group level it is showing up as in the report,,

910774617 active 6/21/2009 824 (total of amt)

but I want so see the maximum eff_dt to be shown up in the group level that is,,

910774617 closed 7/5/2009 824 (total of amt)

Could anyone help me in this regard

Thanks

TeddySnow12,

Sort your report, Ascending, on {table.eff_dt}, this should always leave your record with the most recent date as the last record in the group. By then placing the fields directly into the Group Footer, the last value should "repeat" at the group footer.

Cheers!

Mike
