grouping based on formula column

Hi All
i had the requirment of grouping records based on formula column but i don't know how. the main query sends some parameter to the procedure and i will have a formula column as a result . Do anybody have an idea how could i do my grouping based on this formula column?

Create formula column inside the main group, then grag it above to create the new group. In the formula text you can refer to other columns using their names preceded by the colon ).
