groupheader and detailband on same line possible?

VFP9; old reportengine:

Will it be possible to have the first item of the detailband printed at same line as the groupheader?

Bart,

Yes, perfectly possible. Just create the group header band in the usual way. Add the grouping field. Also add the relevent fields from the record.

Then add fields to the detail band in the usual way.

Be aware that the fields from the first record of each group will appear twice: once in the the group header and once in the detail. If that's not what you want, you'll have to use a Print When to suppress the fields in the detail.
