I used one of the MS templates as the basis for a quick-n-dirty departmental app. (
One thing that's bugging me about the main form common to all the templates is the task pane on the right. It appears to be two boxes grouped. One is solid gray and the other has a gradient. I'm assuming they're doing that to limit the gradient to the bottom portion of the pane.
How do I select just one of the boxes? If you click the item in design view, you always get "multiple selection" in the properties pane. Unlike grouped objects in Visio however, no amount of clicking will give me just one of the boxes and I can't find an "ungroup" option.
I'm using the 2003 templates in 2007. I'm sure this is something simple and obvious, but I don't appear to be simple and obvious enough to find it.
