I need to set up the following

a hunt group containing 5 exts (all belonging to ext mobility users) set to longest Idle pattern.
2 of these users will be logged into the group at any time on a rota basis

The above has be set up no problem.

What they want in addition is for the next incoming call to the group to ring one of the other available exts that is not logged into the group ( a kind of overflow )

Bear in mind that I could set up another group but the exts would have to be logged into it - they would already be logged out of the 1st group and as I understand once you are logged out you are logged out of every group.
Also the phones are all 7911's so no 2nd line.

Thanks in advance

I have not tried this but you may be able to create another group but use the physical extension, this would bypass the need to have a userid and password and force a call to the group to go directly to the phone.

What I am not sure of is what happens when the phone is not logged into exention mobility. It may go to the extensions VM or it may follow the remainder of the hunt group.

Would have to test to be sure.
Let me know if this doesn't make sense.
