Group Sum 1

Hi All;
How do i sum value in a group and reset the sum for a new group. So that each group has its total beneath it?

Right click on the field->insert summary->sum->check "insert summary for all groups".

The calculate combo does not have sum in it. it has maximum , minimum, count and other stuff but no sum.

I am using crystal report for VS.NET 2002

What is the datatype of the field you are trying to sum? If it is a string with numeric text, then create a formula:

val({table.string})

Then insert a summary (sum) on the formula.
