Group Sum in report header

I am running a report based on repairs. I have a product field and causecode field. There can be only one cause code per repair but multiple repairs per product. I am counting cause codes and summing them in the group footer. I have the correct #'s using =sum[(countcausecode)] in product footer now I want to display that in the report header in a table with product name and sum of repairs. How do I do this?
Any help would be appreciated.
