Hi all,

How can we control a sort order. I have a field which is grouped by in the report and we can sort it either asc or desc order. But my user wants the (field grouping and details ) in a specfic order to show up in the report. Can we control it that way??

Any suggestions is greatly apperciated.

Go to report->change group expert->options and instead of choosing ascending or descending order, choose "specified order" and then use the drop down box to add group instances in the order you wish. This will control the order of group instances. Not sure what you mean by "and details" since the detail level group field would have the same value as the field at the group level. Or are you grouping by a range or array?
