Group Sorting Dilemma???

I have a Group in a Report that I DO NOT want to be sorting by Ascending or Descending. Rather, I would like it to be sorted by values that were put into that field on the form in the specific order that I designate.
Let me step back. I created a combo box on the form to be a value list in a specific order. There only are 7 items. I would like the Group on the Report to be sorted in the same order as it appears in the combo box on my form. I have gone through other submissions on this site and cannot find what I am looking for.
Does anyone know how to do this?
Can you use "Order By" to order the results by values in a field?

Could you just create another field to handle the sequencing
of the values. 1 = Vanilla
2 = Strawberry ...

So on ..
