Hi,

I want to build a query that groups records by one field but, I also want to be able to choose which record will be choose by the value of another filed. In Access one can choose the First and the Last, but what I want is the possibility to choose the record whithin the group by the criteria that I choose. For example:

Field A Field B
a "hello"
a "Hi"
a "Tek"
b "Tips"

if I group the records by the field A I can choose to apear the "hello" record by selecting the first option. But imagine I want to choose the "Hi" record? It's easy if I use the clause "where [Field B] = "Hi", but then the record b doesn't appear and I want to!

Can anybody help me on this one?

thank you
