Group Selection and Summary Count 1

Using the Select Expert I have both a record select and a group select. The record selects records with a GPA > 3.5 the group select selects records with "Sum ({nmcrs.cred_rec}, {@Concat Name}) >= 12.00". When I use the 'Insert Summary' feature the total given includes the students that were excluded from the report by the Group select. Is there a way to exclude them from the summary total?

The Group Select just hides the records, but the records are still in the report.

If you use Running Totals, they will skip the hidden records unlike the Summaries.
