Group policy!!!!

Im trying to assign a default proxy server for all users in a group, i have done this before as a test and it worked fine, this time round however it does not assign the proxy but the rest of the GPO settings work fine, and i can't figure out why?? can anyone help, ive tried the no overide option and there are no other GPOs asigned to the group, ive even tried setting up another test OU and it still does not work. Can anyone help??

Have you fored the policy and rebooted the client?

Yeah and still no luck, im stumped, ive tried on multiple work stations.

Ive tried applying it in preference mode also

Or, even from the client, running RSOP.msc. I think Beau71's idea is going to help if there are conflicts with other GP's.
 
this is a machine setting, is the gp deffinately linked to an ou containing computer accounts. If only user accounts are in the ou that you link this to, then it wont work
