I have a Windows 2000 Server with a Group Policy setup to do some major restrictions on certain computers in the domain (Windows 2000 workstations). We now have some new Windows XP machines and I need to set a couple of extra XP specific restrictions such as setting the Start Menu to classic mode.
These options are missing from the Group Policy console on the DC. I have tried installing the 2003 Admin Pack on an XP machine and still the options are missing. Do I have to get a template from somewhere?

Thanks for any help

Look on your XP machine. The System.Adm file located in your Windows\Inf folder should have what you are looking for.

I hope you find this post helpful.

Regards,

Mark

so can that just be imported to the 2000 DC? and without messing up anything that is allready there?

Thanks
