I have one user who is getting errors 1030 and 40961 when it tries to update that users policy. The computer policy will complete. If you look at the details on the 1030 error it says logon failure: unknown user name or bad password. This is on a vista workstation and AD domain on windows 2003 server.
If this user goes to another PC everything will update fine. I can confirm both the failure on his ws and the success on another by using gpudate command.
DNS is fine, user can access the sysvol share and browse everything there.
Any ideas, I have tried all suggestions that I have found.
