I have a group policy to automatically turn on password protected screensavers after 5 minutes. This works perfectly except that I have one workstation that is running a point of sale program I wrote in a cafeteria using a touch screen. They can't have the screensaver coming on at all. Someone suggested I make a OU and add everyone in there except this one computer. Is there not a better, quicker way to exclude a single computer from the group policy?

Thanks,

Shannan

Deny the GPO to the user that is using the workstation.

How would I do this? Forgive me but I am new to GPO. This sounds exactly what I need to do.

Thanks,

Shannan

Go into the Group Policy tab of the OU.
Highlight the GPO.
Click properties
Click on the Security tab
Add the user to the security section
Tick the box in the deny column next to apply group policy.

That did the trick. I really appreciate the help.
