I have a problem where when a user logs into a Windows 2000 system. The problem is that IE proxy settings are not being brought down by the group policy which has been set up in Active directory to set the proxy and port. The group policy is working for all other users. Even if the proxy settings are manually inputed into Internet Explorer they disappear as soon as the changes are applied. Has anyone met this problem before? By the way this problem only occurs with mandatory profiles. Many thanks for your help.
