I am having an issue with deploying software from group policy. I am testing it out first to work out some of the bugs, and here is what I have come up with. I set up policy to push and install on to clients computers when a user logs on. Then I go ahead and log on, but the software installs, it even ends up in the program files folder (where I can run it just fine), but it doesn't show up in the start menu. No shortcuts, no nothing. Can anyone help with this?

Some software actually have options whether to add shortcuts to start menus/program files menu. Does this software have this option on a standard manual install.

worse comes to the worse, you could script a shortcut to be created on the start menu.

A mst file should be used to provide the answers the manual process would normally ask
