Hi guys,
I am in the middle of an interforest migration, everything has been migrated (users and their corresponding mailboxes), I am now wondering whether there is a way of migrating the GPOs as well instead of having to recreate them.
migration is between 2 windows 2000 domains NOT FROM NT TO 2000.

Thanks

Gil

In GPMC there is a backup utility if you right-click on the Group Policy Objects. I have not tried it but it may be a place to start.

Just back it up via GPMC and then copy over the backup file to the destination DC and run the restore from the manage backups.... dialog box.

Hope that helps.
