Group Policy Management Console (GPMC)

Is there a 64bit version available? I'm migrating all my domain controllers to 2003 Server 64bit and can't seem to find a version of GPMC that runs on it.

There are no plans to update the OOB version of GPMC to support 64-bit versions of Microsoft Windows for Windows Server 2003 or Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2). In 64-bit versions of Windows Vista and of Windows Server 2008. the 64-bit version of GPMC is supported.

You must remotely manage those 64bit servers from a 32 bit machine.

Bummer. Oh well, thanks, I was hoping there was a 3rd party tool, I knew M$ didn't have one. Guess I should have said that.

it can be run from any pc and prevents admins from actually having to be physically on the DC's.

I just RDP into all my servers anyway so I never think about installing it on a management workstation and RDPing to that. Thanks for the reminder.

No place here for that.

The change for GPMC was by design not only for the reasons dictacted above, but also because Microsoft research showed that most admins use admin workstations, so the impact of not supporting it directly on a x64 server was minimal.
