Group Policy - Internet Explorer Home Page HELP

We currently have a group policy in place the restricts users homepage to a certain webpage (i.e.

http://www.example.com).

But I would like to redirect it to another locally stored html page. \\servername\everyone\internal webpage\internal.html

This link is rejected for some reason, the error asks for a valid webpage.

Any ideas? Do I need to use quotes or no spaces?

I believe it needs to start with http:// or https://
