Strange problem with Group policies not being applied to a computer.
I have a GPO for all users, which is applied to everyone in the AD.
I have just made another GPO for a single computer to lock it down. I have added the computer to the OU that contains the GPO, and attempted to apply it.
However, nothing I do can get the computer to apply the changes in the computer GPO. The user GPO applys fine, but the computer policy does not. I have confirmed DC and DNS are fine, and cant find any errors in event viewer.
I run gpresult, and get the following:
Computer settings > Applied following Group policies:
Default Domain policy
ADMIN Computers policy
Induction (this is the policy that doesnt apply)
User Settings > Applied following Group policies:
Default User policy
Power user policy (this is the policy that I have confirmed does apply.)
As you can see, the Induction computer policy is shown, so why is the user policy applied, but not the computer policy????
