Hi,
We have a MF1.8 on NT4TSE box on the other end of a slow WAN. Therefore we don't want to hang it in the NT domain of the headquarters. Also citrix advices not to set up a MF box as a domain controller.
There is no other NT box abvailable at that site.
So the MF is a stand alone server.
Now we want to implement policies for the 5 users of that box, but group policies seem to work only on domain groups not on the local groups (they don't show up in poledit).
For a test I did a quick and dirty setup of another MF box and did hang it in the domain, then it worked allright.
On that WAN site we also have Zenworks 2, but somehow Zen does not recognize a Citrix session as a NT nor Win9X workstation :^(
So enforcing policies through Zen doesn't work either.
Please any tips?
The only work around sofar is a kludge: having the user session logged in and then making a user policy.
TIA
Loek Gijben
