Hello,

I have a group of extension in a group-page. It works fine but... when all extensions are in use the users are not able to receive a page. Is there some type of device that I could use as a station only for paging? If were possible to install a device and assign a station to it and make it part of the group-page, it would be great. any ideas? Thanks in advance!

how about you add a station with speaker capability and use it as part of the group-page. the problem is that you will have to use one license for this telephone. Perhaps add more telephones to this group so the probability of all being busy will be less.

wleong56, thanks for your reply. That is an option, but I would like to avoid to use an analog phone with speaker because I am 100% that phone will be use as well and I will be in the same situation. So I was looking for a more permanent solution. Thanks again!

then buy a simple overhead paging unit and put a few speakers in the ceiling.

Hello PBXTech, Thanks for your reply. I have consider that option as well but they don't want that solution in that department. At the end they probably will need to accept some option like that because I can't think about a device to do what I would like to do. Thanks!

well it's either or. either it's over the phones or with an overhead paging system.
it's not like you can install a one way hoot-n-holler system for everyone.

PBXtech, yes, I know it's either over the phone or a overhead paging system. They will have to accept the second option. Thanks again!
