Group Name Field Not Listing Out All Records

I have created 2 group name fields under 1 group. My problem is that after creating these 2 group name fields and listing particular products which should fall under each group, the report does not pull up all the records but actually summarizes a calucated field next to it for all the products that should be there. I end up getting only 1 entry per group name field only although there should be many more. When I view the report without the group name fields, I get all records but obviously without the heading that I wanted.

This is what the report should look like:
Group 1
Prod A 5
Prod B 5
Prod C 5
etc

Group 2
Prod A 6
Prod A 6
Prod A 6
etc

This is what I'm getting:
Group 1
Prod 1 15

Group 2
Prod 2 18

I've already played with multiple combinations of the group field name options dialog box to no avail! The calculations field has nothing to do with this since I've gone as far as totally removing all that from the report to see if it would help.

Any help would be tremendously appreciated!!

Your Question is bit muddled on terminology.

If you have 2 group name fields, then you must have 2 groups (ie group levels) in your report.

What field is group1 based on?
What field is group2 based on?

To see this use the menu options:
report, change group expert

This will list all of your group fields (or group levels)

My apologies,
there is only 1 group - correct. What I did, to follow on the information already provided is:
I changed the 1 group to sort/group in a specified order and created 2 Named Groups on which to sort with particular products within each. When the grouping shows up I get the problem of only one record showing underneath each named group. Like I stated, I've played around with many, many combinations of options when you define that named group and nothing seems to work.

Thanks for your help!

If you change this group to ascending order instead of specified order, then you see all of the records?

But if you create a named group with several products (using the "one of" option I assume" then you only get one product in each group?

How are you set on the "Others" tab of the specified order?

Specified order works fine, but you will find you have more control if you use a formula to define your groups, and if you then group on the formula. For instance:

if {fruit} in ["orange", "Lemon", "Grapefruit"]then "Citrus else
if {fruit} in ["apple", "Pear" , "Peach"]then "Pitted" else
"Other"

Group on this field to create your specified order
