Group Mbox on TDA 15/30 with ESVM 1

Hi everyone,
Is it possible to create a Group Mbox on TDA 15/30 with ESVM. I don’t think they want mailboxes per user just one mailbox that’s few users can access.

There are two ways of doing it

First is using the Reception phonr using it mailbox,

If using Reception mailbox put the extension in first position of Icd group and in group intercept set 591 as designation and set timer to 10-20-30 seconds

This will ring in and put the call after the timer expires it will put the call onto Reception mailbox and the message light will light

If you want a separate mailbox makeup a portable station and set a pin on it
Put that as first extension in the group same as if using Reception mailbox

To record message dial *47 ext no. Pin , *381
Then on the phones make a message waiting button for that portable station and it will light if there is a message. Pushing it when lit will play message

Hi Obt,
With the first option you gave me above, using the Reception mbox, can other extensions have a button or buttons set up to listen to messages or will it only show up on Reception (Ext 201)

Hi Obt,
I answered my own question.
With option 1 I programmed a spare button to be a Message wait button for ext 201 on other extensions. It works well. Although strictly speaking it is not a group mbox but a personal one that other users can listen to messages without having to go to Ext 201.
