group mailbox owners on messaging rel 7 1

I put in a rel 7 messaging for a customer and I cant figure out how to assign a group mailbox owner for my hunt groups

it lets me create mailbox 771 , 772 and 773 but I cant figure out how to assign the owner and have it light up the message waiting lamp

I spent the afternoon going through the CD but either I cant do it or Im missing it .

Make the group mailbox be a "phantom" mailbox, and deposit the messages into someone else's mailbox. You record the greeting in the group mailbox, but the messages end up in the destination mailbox.

OR, do the same thing, but make the destination mailbox be one of the unused auto attendant's general mailboxes (like 9994, if you're not using AA No. 4 for anything). Now you can assign the message waiting indication for 9994 to someone's extension, and they still have their own private mailbox, in addition to the group mailbox.
