Group hunt message waiting

I have a 3300 version 6.1

Could you tell me if its possibe to send message waiting for a group hunt mailbox to a key on a users phone.

The answer is no you cannot do it.

the only way do get this to work is to use a dummy extension and mailbox

There is a work around, but it depends on what voicemail you are using. It can be a real pain but may be able to be done. The embedded mail will ignore # or * before the number. So if you were to have a hunt #5432 and redirected it to VM the mail would see 5432 and light the lamp for that extension 5432 which could then be placed on whatever extensions you need.

The answer is really much simpler, the first member of the group will get a message waiting lamp for any messages left in the hunt group mbox, you can then have a key on the other users phones to show this.
