I have built a report with 4 groups and wish to utilise the Drill Down function for each group. I display;
On generation - Page Header
- & Group Footer 1 (Multiple row returned)
- Report Footer
On first drill - Group Header 1
& Group Header 2
& Group Footer 2
& Group Header 2
& Group Footer 2
& Group Header 2
& Group Footer 2
& Group Footer 1
I want to surpress the repitition of Group Header 2 at this stage, but retain it for the result of my next/second drill down. With out a descriptive group header each new page of a drill down looks very bland and unhelpfull - but inserting a useful Group Header at one level means it appears multiple times in the previous detail section.

I am sure there are others who have encountered this requirement - any ideas?

Thread 149-630934 might be helpful--it describes my suggested method for retaining a group header on drilldown, while eliminating repetition at the previous level. Not sure your situation is really the same, but maybe it will help.
