Group header visible depending on status of sub report

I have a report and a subreport. The report is named rptMain. The subreport is named subProductionJobLines. rptMain is grouped by a sales order number and subProductionJobLines is placed in rptMain's detail section. In some instances there are no lines for a specific sales order. What I mean is that the subreport is empty for some groups.

Now the question. How can I get the groups in which the subreport is empty not to show up when I run my report?

I've never done this quite the way you want but...

On the nodata event of the sub-report set the visible property of the main reports group header to false.
