Group Header Split When Spanning Multiple Pages

Hi,

I have a set of subreports, which belong to a larger report, in which I use Group Headers with the "Repeat Section" property set to "Yes," so that the headers repeat when the subreports have enough data to span multiple pages. The issue I'm having is that if a subreport's header is at the bottom of the page and the entire header does not fit onto it, Access will just cut it in half, so that half the header is displayed on one page and the other half is displayed on the next. The Detail section displays fine. Any ideas?

Thanks

I would think that setting the header of the subreport to keep together with the first detail would work.

Thanks for the reply. I've tried that to no avail. I think I've exhausted all settings on the subreports via trial-and-error. Does anyone have any other ideas? Is there anything on the report that contains the subreports that could apply to this issue?

Thank you

Anyone have any ideas? I've been working on this for a few hours and haven't had any successs.

Thanks

The other thought that comes to mind is using force new page on a section so that the sub report starts on its own page.

Thanks, but no luck. It seems as if changes on the subreports have no effect when viewing the main report. Is there anything in the main report that I can do to keep the group headers from splitting? FYI - I've tried about every property setting on the main report also...

Thanks

I meant to use the force new page in the Main report which would push the entire subreport onto a new page. You could also insert a page break into the report. I'm not a big fan of them but this may be the exception.

Tried it, but it just adds a blank page where you specify (i.e. before or after the section). Thanks
