Group Header or Group Footer

Is there a way of determining whether you are in a group header or group footer with 1 formula?
For example,
if GROUPHEADER then "I am the top"
else
if GROUPFOOTER then "I am the bottom"

Put this formula in both your header and footer for the same group.

if remainder(headfoot,2) = 1 then "Header" else "Footer"
