I am using Crystal 10 and I have a report with a cross tab in group footer 4. This crosstab may vary in length and carry over to multiple pages. The patient name and medical record number display in group header 4, followed by other details and the the crosstab in the footer. The issue is that when the crosstab extends to more than one page then the information no longer has the patient name and medical record on the second page. I have gone into the group expert options and chose keep group together as well as repeat group header but this does not seem to work. Any ideas for me?

I don't have version 10 installed, but I'm sure it works the same way:

In the crosstab expert click the Customize Style tab. One of the checkboxes is Repeat Row Labels.

I believe this is what you are trying to do.

Not quite. I want the Header row which in my case show the patient name and the Medical Record number that is in the group header to repeat. I am good with the rows onthe crosstab itself.

Thanks for taking time to respond though.

Actually this is probably not what you're asking. You want to repeat the group name on subsequent pages?

Not sure how you would do that, but one option is to include the same field as the group as the first column in the crosstab. Since there will only be one matching value, this will create a cell that spans the page with the group value displayed.

You could also experiment with putting it in a page header. But you might have to suppress that part of the PH on some pages.
