Hi all,

I would like to know if this is doable:

Date parameter: Begin Date
Date parameter: End Date

If begin date is 2/1/2013 and end date is 2/5/2013, I would like the report to group the following:

group header: 2/1/2013
record 1
record 2

group header: 2/2/2013
record 1
record 2

...
group header: 2/5/2013
record 1
record 2

if record 1 or record 2 has a finddate = group header, display X else display Y. I am stuck on the grouping part as i do not know how to automatic group the dates based on the parameter date range.

Thanks

You don't want to group on the parameter, you want to group on the date field.
You want to SELECT records based on the parameter values.

By the way you don't have to create two parameters. If you make the parameter a range you could just add:
{table.datefield}={?the_date_parameter}

But there is nothing wrong with the way you are doing it.
