Can you configure the 3300ICP so all phones in a group ring at the same time rather than terminal or circular hunt groups?

Under the key appearances on the sets that you want to ring you can create Key Appearances.

They come in 3 flavours.

Single line, Multicall and Key System.

Single lines appear as non Prime DN's on a single set.

Multicall lines appear as Prime or Non-Prime names on one or more sets.

Key system lines Have properties of both.

I could write a novel explaining them to you but I suggest you review the help files embedded in the 3300 for more information.

Trick that can be used as well, using suite assignment part of the hotel functionality. Create a suite pilot number -> add the members ...they will all ring simultaneously. As it was designed for other purposes, check the online help about the details. For example users part of this group will ALWAYS send the group identity.

Formally, Mitel 3300 Release 8 will deliver collective group functionality. Rel 8 is the next upcoming release.

Or you can wait for version 8 to be released, as i have been informed by Mitel will include collective group ringing.

Version 8 should be available begining of June - unless they put it back, as it should have been released a month ago..!!
