Trying to help a customer work around some coverage issues and want to see if this idea will work or not. The idea is to have calls to a particular group ring to another ext., problem is that ext. is already part of another calling group and we all know you cannot be a member of 2 calling groups.
So, my thought is this...
Call comes into group 7920 that has 3 members. None of these members answer. Have the call overflow to another group with an ADJUNCT as the only member, set for AUOTLOGIN, and linear ring. Have this adjunct appear on physical ext. 1065 as a Primary Coverage with immediate ring.
Would this not allow the call to ring at ext 1065? And if so, if not answered at ext. 1065, how can I get this to cover to VM? Would I have to create a MB for the calling group with the adjunct in it? If I can do this, then it will work and I can have the MWI show up for the adjunct on another ext. so they know to check the VM.
