Group Calling Issue?

Okay here is my situation. I have a client that is adding a full PRI. The DID assigned to ring inbound ends in 408 and will roll to all trunks in PRI. There will also be a frac PRI with 11 trunks used primarily for admin, but will have roll over from the full PRI if all busy. So I need to hook up 34 analog extensions to a modem stack and the one number will hunt to all of these modems.

My idea was to renumber a calling group to 408. Problem is only 20 extensions per calling group. How do I dridge 2 calling groups or handle this situation better. I want to use a circular hunt to make sure after a modem session disconnects, the modem has time for retraining if necessary before taking another call.
Any ideas?

I think if I'm reading you correctly you want to overflow calls from one group to another.

Create two groups, one x408, the other x409 for example.

Go to extensions, group calling, overflow from 408 to 409 and a threshold of one call. When all extensions in 408 are busy calls will roll to 409.

I think that should work for you.
