Is there a way i can group by month/year beause in my report i have group by month but as the new year start it change the sort order. I need a sort order sequentially because i am accumulating the last six month data in detail section and supress iy based on months. Any help really appreciated

Try having two groups.

First should be on the year and second one should be on the month.

Insert the date as a group and select each section will be printed for eahc month, this will automatically group it by month and year, no formulas are reuqired, nor do you need a second grouping.

If you want a total by year, insert it again and state by year.

The post doesn't really make sense to me, why would you accumulate in the details, you should be able to use a Running Total for this.

Thanks Synapsevampire that solved my problem. Yeah I am using running totals to calculate average call volume, average resolution time etc but i am accumunlating it for each application so i can use the maximum value for comparision with current month data with six month average. You helped me before when suppressing monthly graph and thanks again its really solve my so many problems
