Hi -

Is there a Group By Last option available in Crystal 2008 like there is in Access?

I'm trying to pull employee records using multiple tables. I have one main EMPLOYEE table and have linked it to our PAPOSITION table that contains multiple records based on position numbers. Each time a position changes, a new record is generated within that table. I've linked the EMPLOYEE table and PAPOSITION table via the POS# but no matter what I do as far as joins, I get multiple records for each employee when I only want the most current one.

When I remove the link, I get the appropriate number of employee records so I know that the PAPOSITION table is giving me the problem.

Since the joins didn't work, I thought I would try Group By but didn't see the Group By LAST option. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Group the report by Employee#

In group select enter formula

Pos# = maximum(pos#, Employee)

All other details for other POS# will be suppressed
