HI I have a a report that is to list by Unit Station number and within that by room number, doing a total count of people in the room. What is happening is that every time the room number prints a total, then the Unit Station Prints again, which I don't want, since it's the same number. I only want the Unit Station to print, when it has changed.

My GH1 is the room number and the GH2 is the Unit Station.

It should look like

Unit Station AAA
Person A
Person B
Total in Room 2

Person C
Person D
Total in Room 2

etc..

Currently the Unit Station AAA is printing ahead of Person C.

It sounds like you have the Group #1 groupname in the Group #2 groupheader. Check the placement in design mode.

Nope it still breaks each time and prints. I have it now as GH1 with the room as GH2. What am I missing?

It s more that I need to make a group based on 2 fields. I only want the Unit Station to print when it has changed. The room should print every time it changes.

For the layout you want, you need to make Unit Station your Group #1 and Room your Group #2. Go to report->group expert and use the arrows to make the change.

Thanks again LB, it is working now and I am clearer on the group thing as it has been years since I last was working with groups like that.
