Group and Report Foot Totals 1

I have a Group 1 by Work Center and then a Group 2 by Job Operations. The details show data and one of the data is Est Set Up for a Job. So if a Job is worked on many times the Est Set would show each time. I'm not sure how to get the group and Report footer totals. For SetUp is only occurs once per work center and not per activity.
Example.
Work Center = Inspect
Job 13169 Est Set-up = 1.0 hrs Act SetUp = .50 hrs
Job 13169 Est Set-up = 1.0 hrs Act SetUp = .75 hrs
Inspect Total EstSetUp 1.0 hrs Act Setup = 1.25 Hrs

Work Center = Drill
Job 13170 Est Set-up = 1.0 hrs Act SetUp = .25 hrs
Job 13170 Est Set-up = 1.0 hrs Act SetUp = .50 hrs
Job 13170 Est Set-up = 1.0 hrs Act SetUp = .75 hrs
Drill Total EstSetUp 1.0 hrs Act Setup = 1.50 Hrs
Report Totals EstSetUp 2 hrs Act SetUp 2.75 Hrs

Insert a maximum on est setup insert a sum on act setup at the group level. For the report footer, you can insert a sum on the act set up, but for the est setup, insert a running total that does a sum of est set up, evaluate on change of group: WorkCenter, reset never.

The est setup max or running total doesn't work when more than one Job has an operation done that has Est Hrs.
Example.
Work Center = Inspect
Job 13169 Est Set-up = 1.0 hrs Act SetUp = .50 hrs
Job 13169 Est Set-up = 1.0 hrs Act SetUp = .75 hrs
Job 13170 Est Set-up = 1.0 hrs Act SetUp = .5 hrs
Inspect Total EstSetUp 2.0 hrs Act Setup = 1.75 Hrs

Work Center = Drill
Job 13170 Est Set-up = 1.0 hrs Act SetUp = .25 hrs
Job 13170 Est Set-up = 1.0 hrs Act SetUp = .50 hrs
Job 13170 Est Set-up = 1.0 hrs Act SetUp = .75 hrs
Job 13169 Est Set-Up = 1.0 hrs Act SetUp = 1.00 hrs
Drill Total EstSetUp 2.0 hrs Act Setup = 2.50 Hrs

Report Totals EstSetUp 4 hrs Act SetUp 4.25 Hrs

Then the evaluation should be on change of job.

Thanks LB. I did try the MAX Sum evalutation based on the Job & that sums the MAX for the Job great. The difficulty is I need a sum by the Work Center (GF2) too and then a Report Footer and both of these calc are wrong. I hope my details below help and always, I thank you for your assistance!

You need to create separate running totals for each level, with the reset changed to reflect the group footer you want the result in.

For the running totals for est setup, you should be using a sum, not a max. The max is only for the job group footer.

If a Running Total is used and reset at the Work Center Group it totals all the Est SetUp Hrs for the Job in the Work Center & thus the Est SetUP is over stated. Right?

You need the evaluation part of the RT still set to "on change of: Job", with the reset on Work Center.

I do understand, but if a job has multi set up entries then that job would be listed more than once in a work center and the est set up hours will be shown more that once. Showing the date is fine (because more than 1 person might have performed a set up), but the total est set up hours for the work center should only calculate the set up hr for each job not each entry.

Did you try this? If you are evaluating on change of job, then a job value will be counted only once.
