I am trying to group data by column labelled 'project'.
But, it is grouped as one step only. I sorted out the data and carried every step in Excel help page. Still does not work.
Thanks in advance

What are you aiming to get to then?

Do you perhaps want to {sum} or {count} the values(?) in Product by the items in project?

If you can give us more idea I'm sure we can help more.

Fee

The question should be [red]Is it worth trying to do?[/red] not [blue] Can it be done?[/blue]

JUst do menu command Data/Subtotal.

Cheers, Glenn.
