Gridview question

would like to have a second select statement in my gridview for one of the fields that is based off of one of the other fields.

ex. name, add, state
I want to get extra info based on the state in the row and put it into the current row.

If anyone could give me an idea on how to do this or if it is even possible..

Do you mean you have 2 tables that you need to get info from? Then you need to construct a SQL statement that joins the 2 tables. I suggest using a stored procedure to return your results.
