I have Freehand MXa (2004, I believe) installed on a G5 Apple Macintosh suite (and yes folks, licencing is all above board, so there's no security complications), and it seems to be struggling with guides and grids. The problem is that neither the menu commands nor the keyboard shortcuts work for hiding the guides or showing the grids - the environment seems to be locked down in relation to these two features ... guides on, grids off.
Does this sound familiar to anyone, and, more to the point, does anyone know how I can combat the problem? I have tried dumping the prefs, but to no avail.
