Hi,
I'm using VFP 9.0 and have created a Grid within a Form.
The Grid is bound to a .dbf file with six columns. I want
the "user" to enter data to create a new invoice. Everything works fine except when I switch to the next
row down. I want to be able to use the TAB Key when I
have "Lost Focus" in the last column(column 6)to go directly to the column1.text1 "next row down" .

Right now if I press the Tab key in Column6.text1 (row1)
it goes right back to column1.text1 (row1) and not row2,
row3 etc. etc..I can't have it go back to row1, column1 again because column1.text1 has a "SEEK" command to find our inventory and it re-enters data we have "already" edited.

I can use the "UP" & "DOWN" arrow keys to go down to the
next row and tab BACK to Column1 (from column6) but there
should be an easier way for the USER to get to the next Row,Column1.text1 ! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think Mike's suggestion is correct, but if I'm thinking right, you will ALLWAYS go to the next record anytime you exit the cell, even if you were trying to go back to the column to the left, unless you put something in to look for the TAB key being pressed.
