Grid question.

I am using a Parent/Child recordset in the Data Environment as the Datasource for an Ultragrid.
I need to change the records in the Child recordset frequently based on criteria against two fields in the table.
The criteria values are in textboxes on the same form as the grid. One is an Integer and the other is a String.
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.
