Grid line manipulation

Is there a way in CorelDraw9 to position grid lines at specific points? For example, I want to make a grid of 12 horizontal lines, the middle 10 of the lines spaced 30 points apart from each other and the 2 outer lines spaced 50 points from the other 10 lines. It seems that the GRID control only allows equidistant lines.

No, you can't adjust the grids like that - however you can use guidelines and specify the exact placement of them.
