Hello,
I'm using VFP 6.0. When I try to create a new form with the form designer, there is a grey box that won't let me expand the form past this box. I can change the height and width in the properties, but then i can't see past this grey box. Does anyone know else have this or know how to fix it? Please help if you can.

Thanks.
Erik

Hi In the VFP Menu

Menu->Tools->Options->Forms->Maximum Design Area

Set this and save it as default.

When you ask VFP questions, please add VFP version.

The maximum design area is less useful than you'd think. It lets you build forms that are too big to fit within the screen resolution that they're named after. If you set the area to 640x480 then you'll find that your forms will sit nicely on a 800x600 screen. Things like the Windows status bar, the VFP title and status bar, and the Office shortcut bar all reduce the effective size of the screen and mean that a 640x480 form is too big for a 640x480 screen.

To remove that grey box, set Menu->Tools->Options->Forms->Maximum Design Area to (none).

Hope this helped.
